Colorado Springs

Black Forest Region

Black Forest

The Colorado Springs apiary is located at the southernmost edge of Black Forest. This region has the most diverse plants of any apiary we have. This region contains both rural forest and plains as well as developed subdivisions. Developed subdivisions provide nectar and pollen sources of non-native plants and trees as well as backyard gardens. This honey is by far the most eclectic with subtle tones throughout. This honey is best suited for those looking for milder flavors, or those living near the apiary. Allergy benefits will be fairly low due the amount of non-native plants in the region.
